Thank you for your interest in Short-Term Ministries. you are applying to join a select group of saints who will be serving the Lord in a significant way this year. Before your applcation can be processed, you must meet the following prerequisites and agree to the financial considerations.

Prerequisites for Participation

• Active membership at GCC: This assumes adherence to the GCC doctrinal statement.  
• Submission to STM guidelines: includes participation in training events, submission to financial policies, and fulfillment of our purpose (Exalt God, Edify the church, Equip the saints, Evangelize the lost).  
• Faithful service in a GCC fellowship group or ministry: faithful ministry here and now determines your potential effectiveness overseas.  
• Affirmation from a fellowship or ministry leader: it is imperative to have a character assessment from a mature Christian who is personally involved in your life.

Financial Considerations
Short-Term team participants are responsible for raising funds for their own trips. Short-Term Ministries and your team leader will assist by facilitating support letters. Certain fellowship groups also hold fundraiser to offset individual and team costs.  Nevertheless, each individual is responsible for raising his own support as a demonstration of faithfulness.
