“Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.” —Philippians 2:2
From the very beginning, Grace Church has been characterized by the genuine love and friendship that our members have for one another. That fellowship and affection within our church family has remained constant over the years and is a special blessing among the women here.
There are many godly, gifted, and wise women who have been here since our church began and continue their ministry of discipleship today. Others serve the Lord selflessly in behind-the-scenes positions, some are skilled teachers who lead others through the study of Scripture, and others are here for a season while their husbands attend seminary.
In Titus 2, Paul gives an imperative for the older women to teach the younger women how to live godly lives. There is a unique joy and benefit that comes from the discipleship relationships between older and younger women, including wise counsel, encouragement, admonition, and a mutual exhortation in life and godliness. Based on that understanding, there are rich resources available here to help all the women in our church family grow spiritually and learn what practical Christianity looks like in our marriages, families, neighborhoods, and jobs.
As a new season of ministry begins, and after a few long months of anticipation, we invite you to be a part of one of the women’s studies offered at Grace Church. It’s an opportunity to get to know women in different seasons and circumstances of life and be encouraged and sharpened in your love for the Lord and His people.
Whatever your situation, there is a spiritual home and sweet fellowship here for you; take a moment to visit our website (gracechurch.org/women) and read about all the ministry opportunities for women. We look forward to growing together with you in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
