Logos Pillars: Overview

What sets Grace Community Church apart from the current trends in Christianity is our unwavering commitment to biblical content. In the prayerful words of Jesus we are to be sanctified by the truth of the Word of God (John 17:17). To say it another way, what is most necessary for Christian growth is a regular feast of God’s Holy Word. All of our pursuits should point to truth (Prov. 4:7). All of our actions should parallel the truth (1 John 1:6). All of our appetites should yearn for the truth (1 Pet. 2:2). God’s truth is the single most important resource for the believer. The believer as a “new man” is “renewed in knowledge” (Col. 3:10). As believers we have the distinct privilege of the truth dwelling within us richly (Col. 3:16). God’s truth is more valuable than gold, silver and all precious things (Psalms 19:10).

Logos Pillars is the name of our on-campus week-to-week equipping ministry. Historically Logos has been limited to these on-campus classes. However, with the creation of Life Application Logos and eLogos, Logos Pillars has taken on an identity of its own. The new identity of Logos Pillars features three levels of classes: 100 Bible Foundations, 200 Growth Electives, and 300 Discipleship Counseling. Understand that anyone can take any class they desire. It is not necessary to stay within any given level or track. The three levels are structural not restrictive.
