Opportunities to Serve in Special Ministries
Our annual summer camps for the developmentally disabled include tent camping, sightseeing, and other activities. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve and make a spiritual impact on our disabled people.
October–May • Tuesdays • 6:45–8:30 p.m.
More than 100 staff and club members come to participate in sports activities in the Family Center, followed by a chapel time and small group interaction.
Grace on Wheels sponsors outings that provide great opportunities for Christian fellowship and showing the love of Christ.
8:30 and 10:30 a.m.
A typical class includes singing, prayer, a Bible lesson, and crafts. We are in need of teachers, aides, and volunteers who can use their gifts in any of these areas.
We help train our drivers to operate specially equipped vehicles; assistants need no special training. Drivers and assistants serve one Sunday each month.
Volunteers hold Bibles and hymnals, take notes from the sermon, and escort people back to the transportation that takes them home.
