Luke and Ruth Granlund

We are the Granlunds, Luke and Ruth. Christ’s command to “go therefore and make disciples” weighs heavy on our hearts and we are eager to go on an exploratory trip to Harare, Zimbabwe in Africa to see how the Lord might use us to fulfill His great commission there. Our main objective for this trip is to see how we can partner with the ongoing ministry of a TMS graduate who has been serving in Zimbabwe for over ten years.

Our time there will include participation in various ministries in the local church, meetings with church elders and leaders, fellowship with the local church body, and gaining a deeper understanding of life and ministry in Zimbabwe. Luke has been attending GCC since 2006 and has served in various ministries including teaching Fundamentals of the Fatih (FOF), participating and leading various Short Term Ministries (STM’s), and extensive service as a Bible Study undershepherd. He currently works full-time in the financial industry as the assistant to a financial advisor. Ruth also came to GCC around the same time and serves as a biblical counselor and teaches in Women's Ministry. She has also attended several STM’s. Ruth is a stay-at-home mom and a part-time accounting consultant.
