John and Monica moved to Jakarta, Indonesia in 2019. They are dedicated to glorify God by fulfilling the Great Commission in Indonesia. Indonesia is the world’s largest Muslim-populated country, while at the same time having the largest Christian population in Southeast Asia. However, most Christians do not even know the gospel. Churches are plagued by false gospels such as the prosperity gospel. Faithful expository preaching is also extremely rare. As a result, most churches are weak and not fulfilling the Great Commission.

Goals

We seek to strengthen churches to fulfill the Great Commission by equipping and producing church leaders, who are God-centered, Christ-exalting, Spirit-empowered, and Bible-saturated, to equip other believers to do the work of ministry and to plant faithful churches. Our theological education has an emphasis on expository preaching that is delivered passionately, accurately, and clearly in order to transform the lives of listeners and equip them to spread the gospel in Indonesia. We also seek to resource all Christians with biblical resources to grow in their understanding of the Bible, in their awe and love for God, and in their service to God.

• Seeking to plant an Indonesian speaking church in Jakarta with a local pastor
