Our family moved to Asia in January of 2006. Mark is involved in leadership training through teaching at training centers and on an individual level by coming alongside local pastors. Our platform in Asia is a translation company that we established. This "business" supplies us with a legal visa and, through the hiring of national believers, enables the translation and publication of biblical articles, Christian books, commentaries and Biblical reference books into the local language. Most of these are part of an internet-based Bible study platform (www.yanjinggongju.com) designed to encourage pastors and church leaders towards expository preaching. Charity often hosts friends in our home, disciples women, encourages young mothers, and helps with the music and Sunday School at our national church. We are so thankful for the five daughters with whom God has blessed us (Grace, Elizabeth, Anna, Lydia, and Faith), our son-in-law Caleb, and granddaughter Elliott Rose.


We thank you for your interest and prayers for us, our ministry, and our family. We desire to accomplish in our family and in those to whom we minister what Paul expressed in Colossians 1:28: And we proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, that we may present every man complete in Christ.

Prayer Requests:

  1. Pray for selfless attitudes as we serve and minister.
  2. Pray for the churches, pastors, and students with whom we are involved. Pray that they would be growing in their knowledge of the Lord and faithfully proclaiming His Word.
  3. Pray for wisdom and perseverance for our translators. Also pray that we would continue to find capable/qualified translators.
  4. Pray that our children, as well as those we have seen come to Christ, would continue to manifest a true faith and remain steadfast in their love for Christ and spiritual walk.
