God of Light
Perhaps one of the greatest privileges for the believer is the opportunity to share the good news of the gospel with those who do not yet know the Lord. In God’s kindness, we have this amazing opportunity every single Sunday in Grace Kids as we evangelize the children of our church. From its inception, Grace Kids has been shaped by a conviction to teach children the truth about their need for Christ. Over the years, it has become one of the great joys of our church to faithfully proclaim the gospel in every classroom and to be purposeful with every interaction we’re given with the next generation. Each summer, our weekly efforts give way to one of our favorite gospel opportunities in Grace Kids— our annual Vacation Bible School.
This year’s VBS, June 23–26, promises to be a rich week as we welcome hundreds of children from both our church and the surrounding community. As we prepare, our prayer has been simple and earnest: that many of these precious children would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
At this year’s VBS, children will explore the beauty of life and growth that God alone graciously gives. Our theme, “God of Light,” highlights one of the glorious ways God reveals Himself in Scripture. From the opening words of Genesis to the final pages of Revelation, He is shown to be the God of light. At the same time, children will be confronted with the sobering reality that, in our sin, we reject the light and love the darkness. Yet the good news shines all the brighter—Jesus Christ, the Light of the World, has come to save sinners and calls us to walk in His marvelous light. The children will hear clearly that this salvation is made possible only by God’s grace, through the sending of His Son, who died on the cross and rose again.
As a church, we have the joyful responsibility of sowing these seeds of truth into young hearts, trusting the Lord to bring the growth in His perfect time. We are grateful for the opportunity to labor together in this work.
Registration for VBS is now open. We anticipate more than 1,000 children on our campus for this amazing week. We look forward with great anticipation to how the Lord will work, and we pray that the week would be rich in gospel truth while also creating joyful, lasting memories for every child who attends.
As families begin registering, we invite you to join us in prayer—for the children, for their families, and for all who will serve. Pray that the gospel would be proclaimed with clarity, and that the Lord would continue to use our church to add to His marvelous kingdom of light.

Dios de luz
Quizás uno de los mayores privilegios para el creyente sea la oportunidad de compartir las buenas nuevas del evangelio con aquellos que aún no conocen al Señor. Por la bondad de Dios, tenemos esta increíble oportunidad todos los domingos en Grace Kids al evangelizar a los niños de nuestra iglesia. Desde sus inicios, Grace Kids se ha caracterizado por la convicción de enseñar a los niños la verdad acerca de su necesidad de Cristo. A lo largo de los años, se ha convertido en una de las grandes alegrías de nuestra iglesia proclamar fielmente el evangelio en cada aula y ser intencionales en cada interacción que tenemos con la próxima generación. Cada verano, nuestros esfuerzos semanales dan paso a una de nuestras oportunidades favoritas para compartir el evangelio en Grace Kids: nuestra Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones anual.
La Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones de este año, del 23 al 26 de junio, promete ser una semana enriquecedora, ya que recibiremos a cientos de niños tanto de nuestra iglesia como de la comunidad circundante. Mientras nos preparamos, nuestra oración ha sido sencilla y sincera: que muchos de estos preciosos niños lleguen al conocimiento salvador de Jesucristo.
En la Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones de este año, los niños explorarán la belleza de la vida y el crecimiento que solo Dios da por gracia. Nuestro tema, «Dios de luz», destaca una de las formas gloriosas en que Dios se revela a sí mismo en las Escrituras. Desde las primeras palabras del Génesis hasta las últimas páginas del Apocalipsis, se muestra que Él es el Dios de la luz. Al mismo tiempo, los niños se enfrentarán a la realidad aleccionadora de que, en nuestro pecado, rechazamos la luz y amamos las tinieblas. Sin embargo, las buenas nuevas brillan aún más: Jesucristo, la Luz del Mundo, ha venido a salvar a los pecadores y nos llama a caminar en su maravillosa luz. Los niños escucharán claramente que esta salvación solo es posible por la gracia de Dios, a través del envío de su Hijo, quien murió en la cruz y resucitó.
Como iglesia, tenemos la alegre responsabilidad de sembrar estas semillas de verdad en los corazones de los jóvenes, confiando en que el Señor traerá el crecimiento en Su tiempo perfecto. Estamos agradecidos por la oportunidad de trabajar juntos en esta obra.
Ya está abierta la inscripción para la Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones (VBS). Esperamos recibir a más de 1,000 niños en nuestro campus durante esta semana increíble. Esperamos con gran anticipación ver cómo obrará el Señor, y oramos para que la semana sea rica en la verdad del evangelio y, al mismo tiempo, cree recuerdos alegres y duraderos para cada niño que asista.
