We are the Masambukas, National Partners in Training at Grace Community Church. We are preparing to move back home to Lilongwe, Malawi, to serve at Reformation Bible Church and Central African Preaching Academy (CAPA). With a conviction to not only share the Gospel, but also our very lives, our central focus is to strengthen the local church as well as to see the training, resourcing and discipling of indigenous pastors through the training center.
Chisomo was born, and raised in Malawi, Africa. Hearing the gospel clearly in Bible College, the Lord graciously stocked the desire to study the bible through his college years. What started as a desire for study and zeal to learn the bible quickly became a burning desire to preach and teach God’s word. He studied and completed his MDiv at CAPA (2021) while serving on staff at Reformation Bible Church. He married his wife, Thando in 2021. The Lord brought them to Los Angeles for Chisomo to further his studies at the Master’s Seminary. They have since been blessed with a son, Kwanu. By God’s grace, Chisomo will graduate in Fall 2025 and will then pursue a ThM.
We are incredibly thankful for the prayers of the saints on our behalf. With each stage of the journey through seminary and making our way home the wonderful providence of God has been a remarkable reminder of the prayers of the saints being answered, as our needs have been supplied. We are humbled to be named as co-laborers and partners in the Gospel with you. It is with joy that we ask for your prayers as God prepares us for the work of training men, sharing our lives with the church, and evangelizing our city and nation. Please pray for our preparation, financial provision, and team growth and continued unity.
So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us.
