The Schedule is King
You are required to attend all sessions. This is the highlight of camp and it’s what we came for. Wherever the schedule says you should be, that’s where you should be.
Eat Food
No food or drink is allowed in the meeting room at any time. You are also required to attend all meals. Hunger strikes are not permitted at camp, even if the food isn’t organic (that’s for you California kid). Also, be on the lookout for some kid selling waffles or ramen.
Be Strong
Do not attempt to fake an injury or over-exagger- ate. #NoFlopping
Stop Dating Everyone
Guys are not allowed in girls’ dorms (and/or rooms) and girls are not allowed in guys’ dorms (and/or rooms). There is no leniency with this rule. Statistics have proven that camp relationships are short-lived. But they also have proven that, at our camp, they are non-existent. Therefore, consider all potential relationships on delay and any current relationship to be on break. You can DTR after (ask your leader what DTR means).
No Drugs
Tobacco, alcohol, vapes, or any other illegal substances are not allowed. Violation of this rule is a one-way ticket home at your parents’ expense.
Be Responsible
Any actions or attitudes that damage either people or property will not be tolerated. Practical jokes are strictly prohibited. Students will be held financially responsible for any damage incurred to rooms and/or other property. This includes a prohibition on any “fight nights.” 100% not allowed, and you don’t know how to throw hands anyway.
Sleep When You Should
Lights out in biblical Hebrew means “lights out.” We’re trying to help you!
Stay In Bounds
Do not wander off. Stay within the boundaries of the camp. AT ALL TIMES.
Unplug
The purpose of camp is to focus on God’s Word and to fellowship with your friends. To help with that, we want to eliminate as many distractions as possible. Therefore, the use of cell phones, electronic games, and other electronic devices is prohibited. Welcome to Glorieta, your phone doesn’t even work here. Leaders will confiscate any device that is being improperly used according to the camp rules and/or your church’s rules.
Hydrate
Don’t be a hero. And don’t be a camel. Drink water every chance you get. You’ll need it, and you’ll thank us later.
Obey The Staff
Please adhere to all commands given to you from any person with authority. That’s Glorieta Camp staff , that’s your leaders, that’s the police, you get it. Your leaders lead in love, so honor that by following their lead.
Any failure to obey these rules will result in being sent home from camp at the expense of your parents.
