Hello, my name is Tom Pryymak. Before moving to Southern California to attend The Masters University, I desired to pursue playing professional ice hockey. However, shortly after High School, the Lord re-directed my desires to want to study the Bible. This led me to apply to The Masters University, where I studied biblical languages. Having graduated this past May, I am now pursuing a Master’s degree at The Masters Seminary and exploring what ways the Lord can use the gifts He has entrusted to me.
This May, I will be traveling to Papua New Guinea to serve alongside Zach and Cassidy Cann, who have been ministering to the remote mountain tribe of the nDo people since 2015 doing literacy, evangelism, church-planting, and Bible Translation. This exploratory trip will help me discern whether Bible Translation is a path the Lord desires me to pursue.
After Papua New Guinea, I will head to Jakarta, Indonesia with our Short-Term-Ministry team, where we will be serving with John and Monica Zheng (Grace Community Church missionaries). We will conduct a two-day Summer Camp for Middle and High School age youth, as well as a three-day Vacation Bible School for Elementary age children. Both of these events include teaching lessons, games, and craft activities.
Because nothing of eternal value can be accomplished without prayer, I am grateful for prayers that are offered on my behalf and on behalf of those I am serving.
