Unequally Yoked is a ministry to wives who are married to unbelieving husbands. We meet the fourth Thursday of every month meet from 7-9 p.m. at a home in Northridge, except for November when we meet earlier to accommodate Thanksgiving. There is also a short hiatus in the summer. This year we are studying “Trusting God” by Jerry Bridges.
The ministry's purpose is:
To spiritually edify wives through biblical teaching and encouragement
To build the unequally yoked wife in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and His principles for living the Christian life before her unbelieving husband with a "gentle and quiet spirit" (1 Pet. 3:1)
To enhance the sanctity of marriage
To help the wife focus her attention on Jesus Christ and His plan for her life, not on her husband and marriage problems
To provide an environment where she can minister to women in similar circumstances
