Think you make the best pie in the church? Got a crust so flaky it deserves its own fan club? A secret family recipe that could bring world peace? Or maybe you just really, really like butter?
Women’s Ministries wants YOU for The Great Fall Bake-Off, happening at this year’s Family Fair!
Whether you’re a seasoned pastry pro or a brave soul who looks up online “how long do I bake a pie,” this is your chance to put your culinary skills—and your competitive spirit—to the test!
Pull out your secret recipes, dust off your rolling pin, and prepare to bake your way to the top prize in our delicious pie competition. We’re looking for creativity, expertise, and, of course, pies that make people say, “Just one more slice…”
Your mission: Create a pie that wows the judges.
Your reward: Bragging rights and the satisfaction of knowing how many people you’ve made happy.
Your greatest challenge: Not eating your entry before judging.
Bake-Off: Saturday, October 24, at the Family Fair

Once you register, we’ll email you the official competition rules. Read them carefully. Very carefully. We have pies at stake here.
After our champion is crowned, the fun isn’t over for everyone else! The remaining Bake-Off entries will be sliced up and available for Family Fair attendees to purchase with tickets.
So grab your rolling pin, dust off Grandma’s secret recipe, and prepare to bake like nobody’s watching.

Rules:
Please register for one category only. All contestants are asked to bring a physical recipe to the Family Fair to display next to their entry.
Pies
- Pies can be served warm or cold.
- Pies must be made from scratch, including the crust and filling. The only exception is pumpkin pie when canned pumpkin is welcome.
- All pies submitted must be full size and not mini pie size.
Cookies
- Let your creativity run free, there is no limit to types of cookies.
- Each contestant must submit at least a dozen cookies to be judged.
- All cookies must be homemade.
