The South Bay Torrance Bible study is held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays at Chris & Kathy McCarthys home on 21229 Kent Avenue.The Bible study began in the summer of 2020 with a simple desire to serve the body of Christ in the south bay. Chris McCarthy is the shepherd of the group. Chris moved to the south bay in 2018 and works in the area.
The group consists of about 5 families, some singles and a senior or two. There are a few elementary age kids, a few high school age students that take part in the study, and there are a few families without children. We do not have a children's lesson. However, we have a yard that they can play in as long as the weather allows. We are finished with the Bible study by 9PM.
We have light snacks and fellowship at 7PM and then sing songs of worship together, pray and have a sermon or lesson from the word of God.
