We’re excited to be going to a new, closer camp location in Ojai this summer! In order to keep camp affordable, GCC is not providing transportation this year. Parents will be asked to drop off and pick up their student at the camp. Check-in will be at the camp instead of at Grace Church this year.
If you are interested in hearing more about the possibility of bus transportation to and from church to camp at a cost in addition to registration (estimated $100) please check the box on the registration page and register by May 13. We will follow up with more information about this possibility in the week after May 13.

Can Sixth Graders attend Summer Camp?
The XCHANGE summer camp is for students who will be enrolled in 7th and 8th grade in the Fall of 2026. Students headed into 6th grade are invited to sign up for VBS instead! Students entering High School in the Fall are encouraged to sign up for Camp Regen instead.
When do you leave for camp?

Xchange staff volunteers will not be permited to provide any rides, so please arrange any rides ahead of time. Parents will be asked to drop off and pick up their student at the camp. Check-in will be at the camp instead of at Grace Church this year.
Can my student request a roommate or specific cabin?
Yes! Cabin and roommate requests can be made during registration. If you’ve already registered and want to make a request, email us at: ksmith@gracechurch.org. Otherwise, students will be placed in cabins according to their small groups.
What should my student pack for camp?

We applied for a scholarship—when will we hear back from GCC?
All scholarship decisions will be shared after the application deadline on May 13. We’ll contact you within the week after May 13.
Should my student bring spending money? Is there a camp store?
It's totally optional. There is a camp store at camp that sells snacks and small items. Forest Home is cashless and all retail purchases can only be made by usuing credit/debit card, ApplePay, or with a Visa Gift Card.
Can my student bring a phone?
We understand the need for phones to be used for communication home, however students will be expected to not use phones for anything else during the weekend. We encourage an unplugged camp focused on connection and spiritual growth.
Can I send letters or notes to my student during camp?
Yes! You’re welcome to drop off any “camp mail” (notes, cards, etc.) at the Forest Home Ojai Check-in Table on Friday morning. We’ll make sure it’s delivered to your student during the weekend.
How can I stay in the loop while my student is away?
