Easter Offering

This year, as we celebrate the Resurrection, we have the opportunity to make a difference by investing in the lives of our children.

Last October, our church designated an entire Sunday to highlight our Children’s Ministry. Under the banner of Grace for the Children, we invited the children of our church to come with their parents to the main service. It was such a joy to have more than 1,000 children join us in those two services. The world around us seeks to destroy the next generation, but our church is committed to protecting the most vulnerable in our society.

One critical way to support our Children’s Ministry is through our annual Vacation Bible School. Though VBS is one brief week for our church, it has an immeasurable eternal impact on our children. Every year since 2016, this critical ministry has proclaimed the gospel to thousands of young people. Many young hearts have been saved through VBS, and others have been equipped with a firm foundation in the truth. To get a sense of what VBS is like, check out these videos from last year: gracechurch.org/vbs.

Preparations are already underway for this summer’s VBS as hundreds of church members prepare to minister the gospel to more than 1,000 children from our church as well as the neighborhood who will fill our campus from June 18–21. This will be a week focused on the kingdom of God and how, by faith in Christ, one may enter into it.

For the members of our church family, I ask that you pray for this event and consider how you might partner in this vital gospel work. Our Resurrection Sunday Offering this year is a direct way you can go above and beyond your regular giving to support this strategic ministry. As those who have been entrusted with the truth, we must be faithful to pass it on to the next generation—so that all may know the hope of our risen Savior. Love in the Truth, John and Patricia
