Grace Church

Assistant Manager/Chef (PT). The Events Department has a part-time (20 hours per week) opening for an assistant manager/chef.  Ability to prepare hot food, experience in food ordering, and cashiering is required, along with certification in food preparation.  Must be able to manage excel sheets, have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office or Mac Software, have customer service skills, and have a heart to serve.  Must be able to bend, push, and pull while lifting up to 50 pounds.

Custodian (PT). The Custodial Department has part-time openings (20–29 hours per week) for a custodian who will enjoy working in a team environment and serving the church in practical ways. Position requires ability to be detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Job duties include setup and teardown of rooms for church events as well as various cleaning tasks. Applicants must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Event Server (PT). The Events Department currently has part-time openings for events servers. Hours will vary. Experience in serving during special events is preferable. Requirements are to be able to interact with parties in a gracious and friendly manner while working in a fast-paced environment.

GMI Accountant (FT). The Accounting Department has a full-time opening for an accountant for Grace Ministries International.  Duties include maintaining the general ledger, preparing journals, processing payroll, administering grants, and preparing financial reports in Excel format. Additional duties include acting as liaison with Short-Term Ministries, and general office work as assigned. Requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years’ experience in the field or related area. Strong Excel skills are an advantage; basic knowledge of accounting and tax concepts and practices are required.

Kitchen Staff (PT). The Events Department has several part-time (flexible hours per week) openings for cooking.  Experience in the culinary industry is preferred but not required.  Must be able to work well with others on a team, excel in a fast-paced environment, and assist with the unloading of deliveries and placing them in their proper storage. Must be able to bend, push, and pull while lifting up to 50 pounds.

Music Assistant (PT). The Music Ddepartment has a part-time opening (20 hours per week) for a music assistant.  This position will support the aAdministrative aAssistant in preparing instrumental and vocal music folders, filing, completinge assigned one-time projects, and answering basic inquiry emails.  Duties require excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills.  The ideal candidate must be musically proficient, with the ability to read music and a basic understanding of music theory.

Nursery Supervisor (PT). The Nursery Department currently has a part-time opening (up to 11 hours per week) for a nursery worker on Sundays and throughout the week. Must be able to exhibit love to parents, children, and staff and desire to serve through humility, patience, and joy. Prior work experience in childcare is preferred and must be able to successfully pass a background check.

Security Patrol (PT).  The Security Department has several part-time openings (20–29 hours per week) for security to patrol campus buildings and grounds. The ideal candidate will be able to exercise confidentiality, good judgment, and discernment; able to work in all weather conditions; able to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, and reach for extended periods of time; must be able to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 100 pounds with assistance on an as-needed basis; and must successfully pass a background investigation. Working some Sundays each month, and at least one overnight shift per week, will be required.

Web Developer/Programmer (FT). The IT Department has a full-time opening for a Web developer/programmer. Must be proficient in HTML/CSS, object-oriented programming (C#, Java, VB, or Ruby), server-side scripting (ASP, PHP), and relational databases (SQL). This position is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting new and existing websites, databases, and related applications and providing direct support for church staff.  A degree in Computer or Information Science or equivalent experience preferred. Experience with .NET a plus.

Customer Service Representative (FT). The customer service representative acts as the ministry’s representative in handling customer orders, donations, and questions. Their tasks are to process the data entry tasks involved in processing customer response, assist listeners and provide them with information necessary to order and receive our materials, and answer any questions a listener may have regarding our products or ministry. The customer service representative is also responsible for acting as a substitute receptionist on a rotating basis. This is an entry-level full-time position.

Facilities Superintendent (FT). Under the direction of the Chief Information Office (CIO), the facilities superintendent is responsible for the overall maintenance of the Grace to You facilities. Some of their tasks include developing and conducting preventative maintenance to the facilities, performing needed repairs or upgrades, supervising work performed by outside contractors, and maintains facility safety compliance. The Facilities Superintendent is responsible to both consult and make recommendation to the CIO pertaining to facility needs.

Executive Assistant (FT). TMAI has a full-time opening for an executive assistant (40 hours per week, working from our office on the Grace Church campus). This employee will perform a wide variety of administrative and project-oriented tasks including calendar management, correspondence, travel arrangements, clerical duties, and more for the president and executive vice president; monitoring and maintaining office supplies; liaising with various departments and ministries; and other duties as assigned. Meticulous attention to detail, organization, and communication skills are necessary, as well as a love for the church and missions.

Data Entry Specialist (PT). The Master’s University Office of Development is looking for a part-time data entry specialist (up to 29 hours per week). Responsibilities will include entering and editing records, gifts, and other data processes. Position requires ability to be detail-oriented, accurate, organized, and communicative. 

IT Service Desk Manager (FT). The Master’s University has a full-time opening for a Service Desk Manager (40 hours/week). This position is responsible for advancing the mission and vision of TMUS by providing oversight to both service desk operations and personnel with professionalism and timeliness in a highly dynamic environment. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. 

Junior Software Engineer (FT). The Master’s University has a full-time opening for a junior software engineer. This position plays a vital role by sustaining, documenting, and implementing software solutions while following proper architecture and coding standards. Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

LeadService Desk Analyst (FT). The Master’s University has a full-time opening for a senior service desk analyst. This position is responsible for advancing the mission and vision of TMUS by advancing service desk operations, primarily through facilitating service ticket resolution on both a team and personal level. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Server and Cloud Administrator (FT). The Master’s University has a full-time opening for a server cloud administrator. This position is responsible for the design, operation, maintenance, and optimization of campus servers and cloud-based systems to support the mission and strategic needs of the University. Must have an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
